Not true, too many names will be the same. And too many members, they popular rooms will be packed to the extent where people can't get in rooms to talk to the thousands of new habbos.

This clearly shows the link between Sulake and it's customers/players. If they had have had a survey or something, I'm sure that this would never happen.

What I'd to see is account merging. I'm sure many of us hold accounts on various English speaking hotels, when this Habbo-En forms (I think Habbo-En is quite a good name, lets see if it catches on ). I've got some decent badges and rares on US, Canada and UK hotels, if they were all on one account it'd be great and possibly free up usernames.

Not to mention, everyone started out on Habbo UK, then international users moved to Habbo US and then even more went to their local hotels. So old-school Singaporeans and Australians have had three hotels up to now, it only makes sense they should be allowed to merge their progress from multiple hotels.

What's going to happen to the Sulake Staff in all the local offices?

It's going to be like 30k users + at a time!

    Imagine all the rooms!!!

Was thinking that too. I wouldn't mind merging all my accounts on one hotel even, just because I couldn't be bothered sorting everything out lol.

I also agree with Blinger that this is great for the AU hotel. Our staff are useless.

Unknown but lots will be laid off without doubt, it's also confusing knowing which offices will stay open. I think it'd be sensible having officers open in London, New York and Australia like they currently do. They can easily get away with closing Canada and Singapore due to there being similar timezones. It'll probably be headed from London while there's player support and advertising in NY and Aussie. I am just guessing of course but I've no doubt that many jobs will go and presumably some offices too.

There is a help page on the CA / USA merge which was announced a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing most of the stuff answered there will answer questions regarding the big merge.. http://www.habbo.ca/help/104

› Will I be able to keep my Habbo name?
Most likely yes, however, if there are username clashes in the new community, you might need to pick a new one. This will affect only a small group of Habbos, as we're working hard to ensure that the people who are currently active players are impacted as little as possible.
The guy on Habbo US called Mathew was a past Habbo X and logged on 6 days ago. I really hope they do something about usernames, prefixes for the countries for example. There is a LOT of people on these hotels with a LOT of clashes. I like the idea of a flag next to your name!

As for rares/supers they will be tagged (UK) or (CA) or (COM) etc and will only be tradable with people from the hotel they came from, so basically the hotel will be split into communities however they will all be on the same hotel, so instead of having a .ca and a co.uk client open you will only need one to chat to all the same people.
Never thought about that, quite clever actually
