All i can say is awesome goal by Roben. But the sending off was the turning point without a doubt, he was having an amazing game but the two tackles he made shows his immaturity really so better luck next season, we were still the English club with the most chance.

Fulham to bring back the europa back !
Yes, so when your lone striker goes off, you replace him with another striker not a defender. Berbatov should have come off. He might not be having the best of times but at least he can hold the ball up.

Hm I would have said don't put Berba on. He'd have to be the only one up there, and the way that United were playing they had to smash it down field and hope someone would get it. At the time, it was 3-1 still, so they needed another defender and O'Shea was a good choice. I think they should have put Macheda on though when they made that sub. He'd be able to chase the ball down and to try and get the long balls, which eventually Nani was made to do.

Surely Berba's days are numbered. Fergie selected an unfit and injured Rooney over him to start the game- surely that shows a lack of trust/ belief in his ability?

Can't remember seeing him pull off any performances like these since he's been at United.

He's a shadow of the player he once was, maybe it's because at Spurs he was the stand-out player wheras at United he isn't the 'special' one.

I've always thought united have ruined him. He has the odd good game, but at spurs, i always thought he was a quality quality player. Hopefully he will get back to that soon, be it at united or somewhere else.

    2006–2008 Tottenham Hotspur 70 (27)

    2008– ... Manchester United 59 (21)

His record for United is almost the same as it was for Spurs so it's hardly a huge gap in terms of goals, and his assists have always been good but for the £31 Mill price tag it's a poor return really.

Wiki says he got 46 goals in 102 apps.

He made alot more other contributions at Spurs though. His partnership up-front with Keane was one of the best in the PL, some of the clips in the video demonstrate that. He provided quite a large number of assists and was brilliant at holding the ball up.
