Ok, Standing orders on "Finace" is only on BNPL "Buy now pay later" other plans are INTRESTED / DIRECT DEBIT, The way a standing order works is, You tell your bank you want to pay say "Comet PLC" £35 EVERY 26TH Of each ROLLING month, Some banks might charge a admin fee of £15 to do this so read the T&C's, My suggestion to you is to pop into you're local "Comet store" Or Santander, And get them to explain it to you in full detail,

    I Hope my posts helped.

All finance options for any items on any website usually has some requirements.

    1. You must be 18 or over
    2. You must have a job and work 16 hours a week or more

Jimmy, To get credit you must Be in employment "Paid" at least 16hours a week, Over 18, I'm guessing you're not serouisly best thing to do is to take your DEBIT card and ID down to PC world / Comet and buy a PC on finance at let them sort it out, And be warned you might not even get accepted on finance

Well if you are not 18 you will not be able to get credit but I am sure a carer counts as a job and she could perhaps purchase it for you and you pay her back. My mother has done that for me in the past. =]

    Thats the solution ^^

I think if your mum passes the credit check you could then set up a standing order / direct debit from your bank account if you have that facility.

Do NOT lie on credit applications because at worst its fraud and then if you fail to pay for it and they uncover the lies I imagine they will go for theft by deception.

I have decided just to save up for a computer, but that will take a long time
I asked my mum about doing a standing order for me but apparntly she is black listed, so that isn't an option.
I need a computer before the end of the month if I have any chance of passing my Buisness BTEC
I dont see this happening, so I am stuck with what to do? :S

Well have a word with your personal tutor - maybe you could borrow one. I know this has been done occasions and
some colleges have a scheme for free laptops/desktops for students in need.
    Otherwise I have found this:
    http://rentit.biz/laptop-rental.htm
Perhaps you could rent one for a couple of weeks to get the work done?
There is also this company who do have shops nationwide who do credit checks - just need proof of identity etc. Looks at the FAQs. Only problem is the interest is high.
