I agree with this, there have been a quiet a few people over the years who've returned after 6 months, a year, what ever it is and I don't think it is fair for them if they return and their account has been deleted.
i will be leaving and if im on a ship for 18 months and come back and my account is gone i will be pissed
Just do what Dander said. You'd get some very unhappy people that come back if you deleted the other ones (e.g titch)
I would be willing to talk with Garion about proposing clearing out usernames who have not activated their account and have no posts that are over 2 years old to General Management.
Obviously something this large would require General Management (and possibly even Jins) approval, but I don't see why we can't clear out unactivated accounts.

I do it every june along with some secret pruning and deletion of other things just never announced it because before i wasnt telling ---mad--- that i was doing it. June 13th, but my criteria was stricter.

Could do what habbo do -
delete some under a strict criteria
rename some under a less strict criteria (free up the name) so add a symbol to the end
