its manipulated registry programs. it could be in the pc's system right now and the firewall could of casually ignored it as a registry update or something tedious like that, you can not guarantee that its safe. although with a clean install you can be sure your pc is safe thanks![]()

It could be, but I'm 99.99% positive it's cleared now and there is no such need for such a drastic reformat. Most AV's have deep root analysis that even checks registry entries. Up to him/her what they do but it's really not necessary, just saving them time really.
Better safe than sorry, just depends how good your AV is,![]()
