I noticed it this morning, however i just thought it was some kind of glitch.
It also opens at the same speed as normal to me

It seems faster but i bet it's not, it'll probs just be cos theres one bar moving fast n i'm used to the slower one so it feels faster but bet it aint.

That was my first impression too but I'm not so sure now. My other thought was that it could be loading a new hotel in addition to ours.

The whole thing might not actually be a merge, it might just be all 5 hotels moving to one new hotel (not everyone moving to .com). The reason for this dual-loading at the moment would probably be for testing traffic/server load and bug testing on the new hotel. The post-merge single hotel could actually already exist but just isn't accessible.

What it definitely isn't doing is showing the progress of each element in the load (like when installing some programs).

The client seems to load it all pretty quick now. It's faster than it was before the update for sure.
