forgot that this was gonna be a 2 parter so when it ended i was like OWOT

and i really cant get my head around how river songs' past is the doctors future and they're meeting in the wrong order. somebody clear it up for me

Because the doctor first met her at her death. Basically the "wrong order" is the wrong order of his regeneration as generally companions meet him in the order of his regenerations.

I thought you couldn't cross timelines tho if she was the doctor? Like the doctor couldn't go back and slap himself?
