    Indeed it has.

Today is a very grim day for this country. Lets hope Labour win in 4 years time.

While I don't get stuck in and debate in politics, I've read every thread following the election process and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Been nice to see other people's views.

I must also agree, great speech; he's a naturally good speaker. Rather him than me saying all that to millions of viewers though

On another note, nice to see all those political avatars and signatures making an exit!

that was on the marquee on bbc news.

Well congrats, Jordy! Let's hope he has some substance. Not unhappy though now Gordon has gone and hopefully David Milliband will become leader. Best option for them I think to regroup. Can't see it lasting for too long tbh - they are so far apart on policies but I guess everyone can learn. Should be a 'honeymoon' period to start with though. Had to laugh they have found names for the tory/libdems already. Cleggons!

Saurav there might be an agreement for for a FT but seriously the cracks will appear within a few months and then that means nothing. What they gonna do? Sue each other for breach of agreement?

An awful speech by Cameron and when you disect it you can see just how hollow those words ring, for example to rent a phrase 'rebuilding families' - well i'm sorry but you cannot rebuild families that have split. This will be a government of one-nation conservatism and liberalism from the Liberal Democrats which have failed in the past. I see one-nationism as a sideline to socialism, a idealogy which allows socialism to continue and Cameron has already told us that he will still allow the European Union to make our laws, he will increase foreign aid, he will increase taxes - he is no conservative.

The real winners are Herman Van Rompuy, Jose Barroso and the rest of the eurocrats in Brussels.
