History doesn't have all that much to do with todays politics. If only the people who won't take a look at the Tories because of Thatcher realised that.

Any hard working right thinking person should be happy that now, although it will be hard at first we can look forward to a better future and our tax money will be put to bet...ter use.

What about those people who work but also rely on benefits.

That is very true and tbf this is the first opportunity to see what the modern tory party now stands for. Intriguing. I would never have thought they would give away the inheritance tax or married persons tax allowance away or even considered an AV. Only thing is that DC always reminds me of Ken out the barbie doll collection.

I have nothing against the Tories but i am worried for the future of Britain with somebody in charge of whom i know little about.
But to say Conservatives are great and are the best choice for the future its abit silly, when the person has never experienced what its like with the Tories in charge.

You're all very rather deluded that a change of government will equate to change. Including me in that matter.

I was a hardcore Tory, then I was a leaning Lib Dem. Now I consider myself politically ambiguous. An observer. My mother leans UKIP, and I slightly do, but I think I will always be 'the floating voter'.

The next few years will be good to just watch.

    Let the fun begin.

I daresay many people are uneducated on exactly what Thatcher did. It seems to me at school (and on this forum), many people jump on the band-wagon and agree with others about "Thatcher being an idiot" rather than reading it exactly and forming their own opinions. I have no opinion of her, for the simple reason being I'm unsure what she did so badly.

Then again, the majority of us aren't even voting age - intresing how we try to understand and debate politics.

EMA is supposed to be spent on equipment you may need for college such as overalls if your in construction or other uniforms you may need for your course. It is also supposed to be used on stuff like pencils and pens and other equipment.
Although i have to admit, mine very rarely does - but it does genuinely help out college kids who don't have jobs.

What's happening to the education funding then? Clegg wanted to spend more money but Cameron wanted less.
