Tbh I think that's a rather hard judgement to make and moderators would probably get a lot of complaints.

It's like the worst idea I've ever read on Habbox. It would simply be impossible to moderate!

That automatically raises the opposite point; everyone who chooses not to show a picture of themselves will just end up being bullied.. 'everyone else has a picture of themselves in their avatar, why don't you, because you're ugly?'.

It will be interesting to see how the poll turns out as normally the majority choose no. I'm not a huge fan on the whole idea but I don't mind it being allowed for users to upload a picture of themselves as their avatar but we shall see in due course.

I disagree with this idea completely, we are not some photography website where they only allow good photos.

Just wanted to get my personal view in, but obviously I am not going to let that affect the overall decision. Personally I feel that having pictures of yourself in your avatar is unnecessary. It doesn't really add any substance and in fact just leads the way for more rule breaking, arguments and bullying. I also think it looks very tacky. I don't see the need to have a picture of yourself? We're not a social networking site, we're a forum. The concept just confuses me, it just feels so unnecessary.

Not really. I don't think you've ever posted a pic, I don't judge you on that fact. I don't think MissAlice has and people aren't calling her ugly (sorry to use you as an example as always, Alice) but yeah I don't buy that explanation.

Yes I can see where you are coming from except most other Habbo fansites allow it now and if we are to attract new members then it could be a put off for them. Most of the pms that we send asking for removal are new members. Just a thought. Also we do allow them almost everywhere else on the forum now whereas we never used to.

personally i wouldn't put one up and it will look a bit tacky but its a freedom of choice if they want a picture of themselves then they should be aloud . so i voted yes

The "most other fansites" thing always baffles me, Habbox is and never will be other fansites. We are Habbox.

That's a fair point a lot of new members do do that by default. Wise words
