It could be an external problem with the phone exchange or your IP host. If its working I wouldn't worry. Try rebooting tomorrow if it still is amber.

It's nothing to do with the exchange or your ISP. It's your computer.
When it's green, the speed from your router to your PC/Laptop is 100mbps
When it's orange, it's only 10mbps.
So you either have an old ethernet port or you've capped the speed.

Could be caused by an outdated driver.The local port has detected a link with a 10 Mbps device. / Data is being transmitted at 10 Mbps.

Its ok its sorted now its gone back to green thanks guys.
I had this issue once when I switched over to Ethernet, it would like do some orange business but I would not have any internet connection at all. Then in the end it was the cable at fault and we swapped it with a different one and had no issues since. Glad it's back to normal though!
