Schumacher's overtake was brilliant. The replay clearly shows Alonso was over the white line when he was overtaken so I don't see the problem.
In my opinion; refuelling yes, KERS no.
Boring race im afriad, the stewards need to hav a serious rethink about their decision

I didn't know until I was listening to the 5 Live review podcast, what a stupid ruling. At the very most demote him back to 7th but a 20 second penalty? Get real.
no re-fulling has made Bahrain, Spain and Monaco pretty boring I have to say. The other 3 I thought were pretty good though. :S
One for the road. :rolleyes:
What made Monaco boring was the huge amount of safety car laps. When those two cars crashed on that hairpin and almost blocked the whole road, there was a big gap in the barrier which they eventually dragged the cars into but they took ******* ages. Same as when someone else crashed, there was a wing-mirror or something in the middle of the road that took them ages to pick up. I know Monaco is supposed to have the best stewards going, so it all seemed a little lazy to watch.
On further reflection, the FIA do seem to be right although the punishment is a bit harsh. Ferrari (and also the commentators) were under the impression there was a few hundred metres to over-take, turns out;
You'd think race control could of told the teams or something though.Originally Posted by BBC Sport

Ah, thanks for clearing it up.On further reflection, the FIA do seem to be right although the punishment is a bit harsh. Ferrari (and also the commentators) were under the impression there was a few hundred metres to over-take, turns out;
You'd think race control could of told the teams or something though.I don't see why the rule should differ though just because it's the final lap.
Imagine if there was a system similar to injury time in football, whereby all safety car laps are added on at the end so that there is always the full amount of laps. Would be awful for teams in terms of tyre management, and it would probably warrant the return of refuelling but I think it would be so much more exciting.
i can't believe the webber is actually winning.. i think all of australia is gobsmacked.
I love it, he's my favourite driver.Very nervous moment when those two cars collided at that hairpin in Monaco and Webber was just able to squeeze past!
