My mums Dad died before I was born, and my dads dad died before my dad was born so I didn't meet either of them.

My Grandma on my dads side I remember going to her house every half term/summer holiday and her giving me and my sister those 'KP Chocolate dip' things lol she passed away when I was about 7 or 8.

My Nan which is on my mothers side I was really close to she lived a couple of hours away from us so used to come and stay for weeks at a time at our house. She always used to buy us treats and bring us presents every time she came but sadly she also passed away a couple of years ago.

Although it was sad when my Nan and Grandma both died I am now happy that I at least got to know them and I at least have those fond and some funny memories that my family still joke about today. They may have passed on in the physical sense but they still live on through the memories my family share
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

Mum's side; Grandad passed away about a year before I was born. I visit my gran every day, she's amazing and all that.
Dad's side; Grandad passed away about 3 years ago, he was literally the only decent one on that side. My Gran looks like the nice Gran, but she's actually a *****. It's not harsh, she is, I have reasons.

I love my grandparents, we are all close. We all actually live pretty close, I could just go see my nan & grandad in like a 2 min walk. I still have a set of great-grandparents who I don't see very much since they live quite far away but when I do it's nice.
