Nice point you're making in sports section![]()

it's fab, really helped my post count
thanks pal
Well my personal view is and obviously it is up to the Forum Management to rule on this is that unless somebody actually starts a discussion which states their points of view, comprehensively, in the first post so that is kickstarts a substantial and valid thread and not ask a question and then just say 'do you?' or 'what is it?' which invites short replies that are on-topic making then rather superficial, but not against the rules threads. As Jake has said above 'it helped his post count' - not really what Habbox is about in my view but he is entitled as it presently stands. Something that should be looked at fairly urgently I believe.

dictionary > sarcasm
some people would never be happy. how dare the forum have a lot of discussions for old and newer members alike to get involved in. seeing as i've got new members to post which has been acknowledged by forum management with my +rep i won't be changing what i do. if you think it's spammy, report it. simples.
Is that post aimed at me because I am not sure. If it is then as I say my personal view is that they are borderline spam unless the OP posts a significant first post which states their views on the topic rather then just a question otherwise it could be seen by other members just posting to get their post count up. It is something that obviously only management can rule on as at the moment it is marginally allowed.dictionary > sarcasm

If you felt that way why have you been actively replying to them, they can't have bothered you that much. I think that's stupid. Imagine a new member coming on "What do you guys think of Habbo" as title then posting "So....?" as the actual post, they'd be penalised, is that what you're suggesting?! Incredibly bizarre.
Because at the moment, Jake, they are not against the rules but I have sympathy with other members over the substance of them. Yes I do think the thread you have suggested is pretty meaningless unless the OP takes the timeIf you felt that way why have you been actively replying to them, they can't have bothered you that much. to kickstart the discussion with his/her views on the topic. As I say though, this is my personal view which is not necessarily the view of the forum management.
I should hope not because that's preventing posting and discussion, a problem highlighted by general and forum management.
Well I am entitled to my opinion and it would bridge the gap of posting to get the post count up and threads with some substance and most members do elaborate on their thread titles and give their views. As a Smod though, I go by the rules laid down.

I personally feel that Jake's threads justified themselves, as he did sometimes put his view in or he asked further questions/expanded the main question. That's most of them though.
Today's threads posted by Adammm simply had one word like "So?" or "do you?" which is different to what Jake did mainly.
I don't see what the major fuss is as most of the threads are turning into discussions and it seems to be only those with one or two words in that are generating one or two word answers and I intend to look at this when I get back on Sunday evening.
