I'm curious because there's not much to eat instead of meat, for say dinners or is there?

You can get meat supplements like Quorn which is like meat but it has no animals involved as it's made from Bacteria and Soya etc... Also meat is a tiny proportion of food, if you think about it 80% of foods contains non-meats, you can have pasta, potato loads it's only ever one element of the dinner the meat.... However supplemented with something from Quorn or Linda McCartney for example brings the meal together.

what i don't get is that vegetarians don't eat meat yet they go out of their way to find products that are like meat (quorn etc). why would you want to eat fake meat?

those soya beans that made ur quorn are living organisims just as much as cows r.

Know you can get mercury poisoning if you eat a lot of fish as a vegetarian? Talking about years of eating fish though but still, it happens.

I did. Isn't that because of the mercury in the food that the fish eat which then gets passed on to you?

*Removed* food, that's the only thing non-meat eaters can eat.
