One for the road.
Computing will be much more immensely integrated into our every day lives in fifty years time, therefore it's very difficult to differentiate between what's a likely restraint on a game and what's not.
Having said that I highly doubt Habbo will be here come fifty years.
Just thought, habbo wouldn't even be here in 5 years probably. Anyway, You would have to start having symbols in your name, credits would be like 2 for £3.00 and lots and lots of lag and chaos as more members online and lack of moderaters and lots of racism and bullying going on plus lots of scamming and hacking.
The thing is quite a few of you are saying how much technology would advance, but what you've got to remember is that they said that fifty years ago and even though yes we have advanced in huge ways, we don't have all the stuff they said there would so who's to say it will be that much more advanced in another fifty years? So yeah it will obviously advance but perhaps not in the ways that is predicted.
Habbo could still be going then, but perhaps in a totally different form, different name and owned by a different company lol
i don't think it will be here then.
but this may sound really paedo-ish and sad but when im about 30, i'll just pop back on to see what's new and if Lost_Witness is still managing the hotel.

Prob a 3D version too.
I think it'd be bought out by then and changed into a Village or some-what?
I think habbo will still excist as people are always buying credits, maby sulake will run out of ideas and sell it on and it gets renamed who knows ^^

One credit will be worth 500 club sofas.
Imagine how much our pre-2005 accounts would sell for on "bad" markets. Not that I ever do, just sayin'.
