Really simple "Thank-me" button (for forum sigs)

Got bored, so rather than revising I decided to make a "thank-me" system for forums.

It's like rep, but it's independent to the forum, so you can use the same one on lots pages/forums

It works really simply, just go here (no registration needed): http://apolva.com/thanks

Maybe give the signature pic a transparent background but other than that it seems very good and I may add one to my signature +rep

Does this just keep counting and counting forever? Will it disappear if you clear cookies?
Very good idea, might add one to my sig later. I do agree on making it transparent though.

It's based on IPs, an IP can't vote for the same person (unique code) for another 12 hours.

Funnily enough, I just removed the transparency, because it looked really bad on dark backgrounds :S

That's actually really good, but I dislike the look of it.

Could I have a copy of the API or whatever so I can make it look how I want it to look? I understand if you don't, just asking anyway.
