I do aswell, I was referring to stonewall. I believe it should be taught like the others but not promoted.

when you say promote do you mean not encourage people to be gay, not say it's ok to be or something else entirely?

I didn't get to see the whole sex ed course but in the class I was helping out they had to do a little survey thing on what they wanted to know more about, and homosexuality was a tickbox that about 8 girls in the class ticked as a first priority, so I hope that they were taught something about it other than 'use protection! And being gay is normal!'

There's no possible way to 'promote' homosexuality. No amount of 'it's okay if you're gay' or 'here's how to protect yourself' or 'you might have confusing feelings' would make YOU gay if you weren't already, right?

Also... a lot of stuff for homosexuality sex ed is similar for heterosexuals as well. Random guys giving random girls oral sex should use the same protection as lesbians, guys should always use condoms no matter who they're having sex with or what body part...
It's more about inclusive language I think, (When you're having sex with the person you're with...' rather than 'when you have sex with a man') so that they know that this stuff applies to them too, and that it's okay.

Stonewall doesn't promote homosexuality but promotes the equality homosexuals rightfully deserve.

Agreed. I think it's impossible to promote homosexuality. I mean no matter how many times you say to someone "its fine to be gay" they are still gonna be straight, it simply helps them understand homosexuality so they are less likely to be against it and they understand that its fine for them to be homosexual.
