I wish the American Mods would realise that the merge has happened. There are official UK fansites wanting to advertise, so let them.

Now Habbo sucks, Is really STUPID, The moderator don't know the fansites of the other ex-hotels...
You guys need to realize that this has been a long standing rule on Habbo.com. Sure, it is difficult for fansites to promote themselves, but we've got to find an alternative than doing what you're doing. Habbox.com isn't official on Habbo.com; it was official on Habbo.co.uk, which is no longer open. You have to earn the right to become official on .com, by doing this, you're making it worse on yourself, lol, you'll end up the next HabbCrazy and won't even be considered for official. Keep the room name as Habbox w/e it's called, and most importantly, stop fighting with the moderators. If you want to make the situation better, just let the moderators have their way. You talking to them in disrespectful and negative tones isn't strengthening Habbox's chances for the best, it's making things worse. Arguing back with a hotel staff is already against the rules as it is. He's told you time and time again to stop advertising it, it's not official, just let it be for the time being until Habbox is certified as official.
The rule is there as a cautionary. They don't want to be responsible for anyone being scammed or keylogged, etc. They won't visit each of the sites, either. The only way to prove it's a legit site is by becoming official. The ones listed on the group home were able to do that just fine, so quit complaining. In the end, it's Habbox's fault that they discontinued Habbox USA and CA. Had it been international like I suggested a while ago, there wouldn't be this uproar. You're just all mad because of the rules you're not accustomed to. Get over it and stop criticizing the moderators works; they've been trained by the best and have been doing this for years. (And they aren't American, not a single one of them).
@HotelUser, where did you get that theme?
It says Habbox is a fansite, not an official one.
They are Singaporean.
You guys kept testing him, pushing him to his limits. He's handling it better than Puffin(L) did.
I am not power hungry, firstly, secondly, some of these moderators, including Frank, I believe, worked UK. Plus, these mods are US, CA, and SG originally. It appears that Barack Obama is not only dominating Britain in terms of Oil, the Moderators at US now think they can dominate Britain Mod's in terms of Habbo. What is the world coming to?
Everybody know's American's are power hungry, and generally just hungry. Maybe they should of sorted this out before they merged. At the end of the day, the hotel isn't Habbo US as they insinuate, its Habbo SG, UK, US and whoever else.
Great speech father pops, and I completely agree with this, ITS JUST LIKE WHEN BETA CAME IN EVERYONE DISLIKED IT, BUT LOOK NOW, EVERYONE COPED AND GOT USED TO IT, it's the same with the big 'super-hotel' people will get used to it ...You guys need to realize that this has been a long standing rule on Habbo.com. To be honest, Habbo has really downgraded itself now with the merge; these American Moderators can be really annoying at times...
I mean, Habbox was an offical site before the merge, it should still be one after!
Anyway, until they fix up there Mod's and behaviour, I doubt we're gonna get anywhere...
J-Raviv or whatever it is, can I point out habbox wasn't official for AGES yet it is STILL the biggest fansite. So gonna have to tell you this -habbox doesn't need official for the word to spread. We have loads of international users coming for our values, something no other fansite that has tried, can beat.
Sure official would help - but we don't rely on it.
All I can say that this still feels like a Habbo US Hotel than a merge hotel. I remember back in AU. that all MODS were friendly, understanding your problem. Now we have idiot MODS over using their powers.
For the defense of MODS that they were doing there Job and they have orders to obey the Terms and Conditions of Habbo. Some of these MODS haven't heard of these Fansites from overseas, so you can't really blame them for doing there Job.
But overall they shouldn't be harsh to Habbos and must calm down.
I'm not really a frequent user of Habbo, nor am I a frequent user of Habbox; but what I can say is that I'm deeply disappointed in the way Sulake have dealt with this 'Merge'.You guys need to realize that this has been a long standing rule on Habbo.com. I am not power hungry, firstly, secondly, some of these moderators, including Frank, I believe, worked UK. Plus, these mods are US, CA, and SG originally.
I have two major issues with this merge,
1) Moderation
I am disgusted in the way Sulake have dealt with the moderation on in this merge, I couldn't care less about what the rules and regulations were on Habbo US, if this were a true merge, terms and conditions of all hotels should be respected and if any changes are to be made, these changes should be made progressively making the public aware, and more importantly official fan sites (such as yourselves), should be in close contact and should be given prior notice to any changes in these terms and conditions e.g. advertising, sharing URLs etc.
These moderators should have been given this information, and should have been told to deal with you accordingly and fairly, though instead users of this website and forum are treated contemptuously like they're actually doing something majorly wrong, when they weren't even aware this was a rule in the first place!
2) Rooms IDs and Accounts IDs:
I would like to said that I think it is ludicrous that the UK wasn't the hotel in which the merge was based upon. Every account on UK, SG, AU and CA have all literally been deleted and copied over to .COM, of course this was inevitable as this was the only practical way to perform the merge, but why does the UK having been the first and original English hotel since 2001 have to be merged in with US hotel created in 2004?
Every other hotel should have been merged in with the UK, there are many very old 2001 and 2002 rooms and friend's accounts etc that have now sadly been deleted, not to mention the fact all the accounts that haven't been deleted have now got new account and room ids, in other words, people such as armasK, RedVelvet, etc can no longer claim to have the 'first furniture' or 'first room' etc.. The history of Habbo UK long pre-dates that of any of Habbo US, we should take precedence!
Bottom line is Sulake, you screwed up.. BIG TIME and we're not happy..
Laughing at how offended everyone got tbh, I think it's hilarious! Most the people in there are ignorant anyway but besides that ... it's just hilarious LOL
You guys, the moderators aren't American, and they are all fairly new. From Habbo SG, CA, and US. Heck, a lot of them were even UK staff members.
@Andriod, if that were true I don't see what the big deal is. And that isn't true, maybe for Habbo UK it's true, but not the other hotels.
@array, the UK was merged with the US hotel because it was the biggest in terms of daily activity and and visits/traffic, etc. Plus, it's the new main office.
This was a smart move on Sulake, business wise, especially. You don't like it because you all feel you got the short end of the stick, but we all did, truly, so stop complaining and start accepting things for how they are and will be, then things will get better.
