It's exactly the same as a wiimote.. Perhaps a little more accurate, and maybe better, but it's still the same thing.
Just like Kinect is the same as EyeToy and whatever they called the PS3 version, just Kinect is better.

Also @Jak, Ratchet and Sly, I do hope that wont be some sort of mash up, those games are all good but please.. Sequels, not mash ups. ¬¬
