How much can you get for a preowned xbox with network adapter? :S hopefully the design looks better irl, cus if not I know I wouldn't get it, ever.

As for kinect, hmm. It's interesting, but sounds like it would only be useful if you had something on your head Reading your thoughts. THAT will likely be the next big thing. It is already in development, and combining the two is what is needed

Not saying everyone picks up their consoles while a game is loading, but I think this is pretty funny. So if you're getting one of these then don't pick it up while a game is in!

If you're dumb enough to move your console while playing games in the first place then you shouldn't be allowed to own one.

I don't really know, depends what type it is I guess, probably £80-100 or something? I don't really know much about trade-ins.

A large vibration will move the console? I think it's a fail how they couldn't even fix a problem, infact making it worse. LOL.

The reason it scratches is more than likely due to them using a disk tray, and if you have it standing up.

It's pretty much common sense not to move your xbox around when a disc is running

Lol. It's funny how the PS3 fanboys are trying to take advantage of the 'xbox moving scratching disc' thing to try and make the new xbox sound. I'm defiantly going to get it for my birthday looks awesome! The wifi would help me alot!

I don't know who you're talking about here, but of it's me, I was giving the reason why it scratches. The other two consoles don't seem to scratch disks and what's the difference? They don't use disk trays..

I still don't trust the Xbox, I'll see how the reviews go.

    1) Its an accessory, accessories are never supported. Lets take the Wii Fit balance board shall we? Kinect will never outsell the balance board. In fact I believe that even if every xbox owner purchased Kinect it would not outsell the balance board. How many games do you see coming out for that? Loads at first, a year later? None. The same with WiiMotionPlus and the Eyetoy.

    2) Its WAY less precise than even the standard WiiMote. The reason the WiiMote works well its because of its accuracy and speed.

    3) Kinects appeal is "no controller" right? Well I challenge you you need a controller. You HONESTLY expect me to play Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda or Metroid WITHOUT an analogue stick. Thats what I mean when I say 3D Cameras have a place in gaming but only to compliment the controller. A controller is always required.

    4) Following on from the controller point I think you need a controller for feedback. I don't see why people are so ready for this "controller-less gaming". I mean they just showed Star Wars, lets have a look at that. Would you rather swing a light sabre holding a WiiRemote with gives you feedback in the form of a rumble and sound in the form of a slash or nothing at all?

    5) Penultimately Kinect has yet to be proved. I believe it was IGN who said just yesterday that it was still "jittering". Not to mention that it is yet to have a "killer title"

    6) Finally and perhaps most importantly is the fact that Kinect doesn't have Nintendo. Look at every wii game that uses motion control well, who are they made by? Nintendo. 3rd party companies have failed time and time again. It's exactly the same as the DS touchscreen. Nintendo are the only ones that seem to be able to use it well.
There have been tests on vibrations in the house with an Xbox 360 too. The test results showed that jumping around damages the disc lol. So, jumping around with Kinect may damage your disc lol.

You will also need a fairly large room to use it, most people have their xboxs in their bedrooms and wont even have space to play.

I also don't think Halo will be any good
