If you want them back to bad, drive to their house when your friend isnt in and say to their mum "oh blah blah said that they left out my game and book for me to collect? "
and when she cant find out, or go and "point them out."
Most chances are your friend won't even notice

they won't. i might sms them later today and ask for it. but they won't do anything.. what if they don't get me it?

Well at the end of the day, its your stuff so when they come to collect the DVD, ring/text them and say "Oh and grab my _____ and _____ aswell."

Or you could just say like "Oh, do you remember my _____ I had?" If they say yes then say "Oh its still there? Well could you bring it with you when your coming for your DVD? Thanks" or something like that should work.

But tbh, you shouldn't really be.. shy? Cos its your stuff & if you want it back, then you should demand it.

if that fails, just ask him straight up for your stuff back
