oh definately, age isnt a problem in my eyes. as long as the show is enjoyable, people will tune in, whether the dj is 13,14,15,16 or w/e.

With regards to people talking about show quality it is something that obviously isn't perfect but over the next week or so we will be providing individual DJs with a lot of feedback on their shows so hopefully those things that annoy people will be reduced. We have a lot of really good DJs and I believe that all of them have the ability to produce some great quality shows. Also as the summer comes I expect the listeners to rise because there will be a lot more events for people to get involved and maybe we can add in some things like listener of the week or do another most dedicated listener competition like was done when Adzeh was manager because I think that worked well.
The party rooms? That's because you can it hardly anyone in rooms on habbo?nope - the party rooms are still having the same amount of listeners as they used to have, there was still the same amount of requests as we had.
I think the decline is users is less visitors to the actual habbox.com site iteself. People not visiting for rare values instead just using the market place, other than news what other reason is there to go on habbox.com? I think some things have to be done more interesting content maybe competitions should be put on there too some features that will want people to come back - if i was new to habbox and went on habbox.com I don't think there would be very much to bring me back atm.
And people still visit Habbox.com for content.. 895 users online now, was 1400 the other day. So erm?
I would of thought that were obvious.
Why the **** are inexperienced DJs allowed to DJ on the largest habbo fansite (well one of?) You don't see the BBC bringing it some random person who has never DJ'd in their life, with no charisma what so ever to DJ?
And believe it or not, he dared to say it x
I know DJs who are inexperienced can be good, however you have clearly said some of the ones lacking experience are crap..
And you wouldn't have a clue how RVR's do anyway, sadly when you are in such a public department, which everyone looks at you have to be up to scratch.
Not funny.

I think a first step would be for some of HxL, to admit things need changing, and that nobody wants to hear unfunny 10 year olds saying stuff like ''guess wut, i wuz at schuul todayz and i gots a detention! *shouts* *giggles* - ma mam wu lyke 'BAD BOY'. it wuz sooo funnyy HAHAHAHA *giggles*''
Nobody wants to hear that.
In no way am I saying all DJ's are like that, but sadly some are.

I agree jess cos like ive been tuned into habbox for a year (im addicted) but then i bearly ever get noticed for it, mainly sacha and michael (xoim) noticed me
definately. all of the djs are obviously able to put in a good show, so I amongst others will be looking forward to some fantastic shows; like there used to be in virtually every slot. With regards to people talking about show quality it is something that obviously isn't perfect but over the next week or so we will be providing individual DJs with a lot of feedback on their shows so hopefully those things that annoy people will be reduced. I always used to love habboxlive, sometimes i would come onto my computer specifically for it, but just lately as ive been saying (whichhas taken some criticism) is that shows lately havent been as good as they used to be, and this is why the radio has perhaps been losing listeners. I still tune in from time to time, i personally like the chart shows, and the chatathons always go down well with me as well.
for me personally ive been enjoying habboxlive less and less lately, and so i tend to put GalaxyFM on instead of habbox; so as has been said, when we get people hooked, (as many including me were), we need to keep them hooked!

I agree with this, although as i said if the 10 year old dj is a good dj, then theres no problem at all. Its all about (here i go again) whether or not the show is enjoyable to people. yes i know that what i find enjoyable, someone else might not, (and visa-versa), but i personally know a lot of people who, like me, have stopped listening to habboxlive lately because of the decreasing level of (yup, here it is again) enjoyment that they get out of the show.

and yes, i dared say it although looking back on it i could have worded it better, as i said.

Thanks for the post (not being sarcastic). With regards to people talking about show quality it is something that obviously isn't perfect but over the next week or so we will be providing individual DJs with a lot of feedback on their shows so hopefully those things that annoy people will be reduced. Perhaps give users on the forum to PM their thoughts on DJ's - after all listeners feedback is surely very important. Obviously don't tell DJ's stuff if people are just being rude about them, but constructive feedback could be useful?

Another problem in my eyes, is whether it is just for me or not, on habbox.com the radio does not play automatically. So why not have the flash player on hx.com too? Some users will go n nd just not bother to turn it on - always used to be the case with me, when it played automatically
Yeah, only thing is, we don't get millions of listeners at a time, and are no where near the BBC, I doubt the BBC use Sam Broadcasting, too...
Habbox is not set out to be like the BBC, its set out to be a Habbo Fansite, the radio isn't even a must-have for Fansites, it's a total bonus you even have it.
:rolleyes:The party rooms? That's because you can it hardly anyone in rooms on habbo?
And people still visit Habbox.com for content.. 895 users online now, was 1400 the other day. So erm?
That clearly is wrong, I highly doubt 895 users and 1400 users mute the radio? :S

I said a few need some experience and believe it or not that's what HabboxLive is giving them expereince, it's a habbo fansite not a multi million pound company.

I think you fail to forget Rare Values are what made habbox so popular, I was using it as an example since that is what his job is. :S

I think that those stats on Habbox are incorrect, unless you want to believe at 3am in the morning there are sometimes more people on Habbox.com than on Habbo itself.
I would of thought that were obvious.

He did not call them crap, the inexperienced DJs we hire are the ones who are naturally very good. On apps people who sound natural and not like they are a clone of every other fansite DJ are the ones that stand out. Like you say inexperienced can be good, those are exactly the ones we hire.

We don't admit everything is perfect but you clearly do not tune in because the DJs do not go on like that that is the sort of example people give of what they class as a typical habbo DJ just like when people make comments like "All the DJs are 12 and have high pitched squeeky voices" - I do not mind critisism in general about the department as long as it is not given from someone who clearly doesn't care and doesn't listen and is something constructive that can be worked on.
Nobody wants to hear that.

you see ive been hooked in but everyones almost like letting me go like putting a god off a lead and saying "off you go"
