Algeria played rubbish; sitting 11 men behind the ball doesn't constitute playing well. It's the most unattractive football i've ever seen for a team that isn't going to progress anywhere. Why didn't they just open the game and keep it entertaining for their thousands of fans that turned out?
There was me thinking African football had developed, most of the African teams have really disappointed this world cup campaign.
It's Englands job to break that pathetic kind of football down though, and if they can't do that in 90 minutes then they don't deserve to win the game. England played rubbish but im not afraid to be critical of them because I know that they can do so much better. I doubt Algerian fans were critical because that is probably the best result they could of got, nobody up top. Probably because he was in his own half as well. Pathetic football all around.[CENTER]
