Sorry for just jumping in here, don't mean to be rude... but my friend gave me Naruto & Bleach DVDs & I don't know if they're worth watching because I've never watched any anime before D; Should I?

I think they're a good starting point so I would say yes. I was hooked on Bleach when I first started watching it, but it does go downhill after a while. Thankfully that isn't for a long while though, since it has so many episodes. I say give them a try.

If you can get hold of Death Note though definitely watch that. Anime fan or not, its a series everyone should delve into.

not being rude but yea if there free then may aswell watch. They both have there good points and there also good series to watch to get you into anime. if you feel you enjoy them then should consider watching better series like FMA and One Piece. There are lots of diffrent anime so.. should find something to suit your taste.

remember to skip the fillers of bleach, so not worth it to watch.

even so Both Naruto and Bleach have had to put up with LOOOOONG periods of fillers. i know a certain series that didnt.
