    Default USA Bias

We have recently merged to create an international hotel, yet this new Habbo continues to be bias to the USA roots, in particular the "Habbo News".

Here is a segment of text from your "Habbo News" illustrating my point, "After all, the REAL World Cup isn't just for countries outside the USA. Recent ratings have shown that more people are watching the World Cup from USA...than even places like the UK. How crazy is that?!"

I don't feel it's fair to be bias to one nationality only due to the fact that the hotels have merged to the domain "habbo.com"

Its not fair, but the target market in america dwarfs everywhere else, so its just the way things are gonna be unfortunately.

Of course more people would be watching the World Cup in America, its population is five times the size as the UK's! Instead of looking at viewing figures they should pay attention to the amount of England fans that actually turned up to the games in South Africa, as they most definitely overshadow the American attendance.

Amen to the post by Neversoft. America has a much larger population and a lot of people unemployed. Sorry we can't all watch the world cup because we are working.

Habbo need to cater for the majority. We all merged to the .com hotel, obviously that was the biggest and therefore Habbo need to cater for those in the USA as the majority of people live there.

I can imagine people getting annoyed about Habbo most likely celebrating the 4th July. "So what?" is all I can say. Habbo is an online game and life is too short to complain about million dollar companies being bias to their largest fan base..

When we think about it - the majority of the current Habbo Staff team are American, so their views will mainly revolve around America their own country.

I do feel its totally unfair though, but its just the way things are gonna be!

But it is now an international website and that is not what they should be doing. Its a real shame America always regard their authority above others. Its like they think they're the only country in the world that matters.
