No it's Real Madrid that have a bottomless pit of money due to the connections with the Spanish royal family. Barcelona, however, do not have that kind backind and only have the banks to rely on. Yes, they can prove that they will make a profit but they won't. Hardly any football clubs do because the sport has become too reliant on 'hypothetical' money. Money that isn't there, or isn't their's in otherwords. Unless something is done, from the top; by FIFA, about financial situations at football clubs then it won't be long until Accrington Stanley are in the Champions League. You think I'm kidding?

TV money is split equally between Prem teams, the prize money is just a bonus.

The Premier League’s TV broadcasting deals brings in £2.7 billion over three years. Of this, £22.8 million is paid to every Premier League club as part of an equal share of revenue.
    from 2007 but still.

Was gonna say they share TV money equally, but get bonuses for being champions, top four, etc.

where do you think the prize money comes from

50% is given equally, 25% is given on how much youre on UK TV, 25% is prize money. surprise surprise, the top 4 are on the most so they get the most money.

Yes but this system is much fairer than the one in place in Spain. At least the money gained here is through the 'achievements' of the club as opposed to Spain where Real Madrid and Barcelona both can negotiate with international TV broadcasters individually. The two clubs take half of the whole league's TV revenue which gives them about 150m euros a season, which is significantly higher than any prem team...
