So you tried to divert the argument without even reading our posts. That wasn't very smart.

The latest chapter of Claymore was great.

I really wish it wasn't released monthly though.

Urasawa should be number two to be honest. Everyone calls him the new God of Manga now that Tezuka isn't around. 20th Century Boys, Monster and Pluto have all been hailed as masterpieces. Takehiko Inoue should be higher as well. Much like Urasawa, he has three hugely acclaimed series (Slam Dunk, Vagabond and Real). I don't agree with a lot of people on that list.

well Astro boy was one of the 1st manga's wasn't it? Dragonball is a classic reason why SJ is so popular now. OP is the best selling ever and is awesome.

Doraemon and Sazae-san are always in the ratings fight with the OP thats for anime tho but would assume the manga is popular aswell in that case. Slam dunk was why Japan intrest in basketball to rise and Naoki Urasawa should be higher yes even tho ive only seen/reading Monster its good.

    1. Toriyama
    2. Oda

    dno about the rest.
