    Default Favourite Genre

I think everyone has a genre that just appeals to them just in every way possible.

I think it comes as no surprise that mine is Sci-Fi, two films in my top five are 2001: A Space Odyssey and Moon.

I couldn't possible say just one. The genres that appeal to me the most would be adventure, fantasy, drama, sci-fi... actually forget it. I have films I love from every genre. Although I can safely say Horror is my least favourite genre.

I think everyone on this board can safely say that every genre appeals to them. But the one that has just grown with me and feeds into my state of mind has always been the one I've already mentioned. It's just something that our heads turn twice at.

Oh and with Horror being your least favourite, good luck with Misawa/Adam.

Horror/Sci-Fi haha, ever since I was a kid i've been watching Horror TV shows and films.

I'll be branded a maniac for speakin' the truth and I'll be murdered as soon as I hit the streets with the proof.

    I'm with this.
I am definitely more into the fast-action films than the slow more emotional ones as the former tend to keep me on the edge of my seat and more enjoyable so that tends to rule out rom-coms as well but I couldn't pick a favourite, I love them all equally.

Horror, since I've grown up on it from age four.

No genre in particular has grown on me. I am able to like most of them equally as they all produce masterful films. Horror as a whole does not appeal to me as I am not a person who looks for scares and violence as a form of entertainment, but there are of course Horror films I think are brilliant, such as The Shining and Alien, which I enjoy mainly because of the talent behind them rather than their horror aspects. I just feel other genres have more to offer me personally and hey, if someone can't accept my opinion then shame on them.

I have no problem with someone having a favourite genre other than horror... That would be incredulous.
