The fact that I don't care is an opinion...
I don't care to see it because it is exactly the kind of show which I do not like.

As a TV journalist, this show is something probably worth looking into. Sure, the movie was one of the worst things I have ever laid my eyes on, but the TV show is a completely different story. Of course it has younger humor and it is technically geared to a younger crowd, but that doesn't necessarily mean that an older person could not watch it; I'm 18 years old and I think it's better than any show I have watched on prime-time TV.
A critic of any art medium should know to look beyond the face value of anything he or she is critiquing. The Last Airbender has incredible character development, a very complex backstory and history, authentic mythological and Asian religious references, and many archetypal themes and motifs that makes it much more than just a cartoon.
Usually having a more open mind is beneficial.
It's a pretty pointless opinion, if you'd backed it up like you just did (wow that was hard), then we wouldn't be talking right now about this. But just out of interest, why isnt it the kind of show you do not like?
empasm, couldn't have said it better myself. Also, thank god you acknowledge that the movie was the worst thing, ever.
Adam, you should've said "I have no interest in seeing it, happy for those who do." really instead of "I don't care.", it is quite hostile.

I'm a games journalist and this isn't apparently the sort of thing I'm 'allowed' to talk about.
I actually really like The Last Airbender, since it's one of the few 'clever' cartoons on the television today. Reminds me of the toons I watched when I was young, maybe even a hint of Samurai Jack in there too.
Okay, admittedly I was blunt.
I have a VERY open mind.
I generally do not like Asian cartoons for one, especially those deep rooted in fantasy.
Too bad it's an AMERICAN cartoon then, huh?
So you're hostile towards a program you know absolutely nothing about. Brilliant. What a brilliant critic you are.
I was referring to the cartoons set in Asia with a distint anime stlyle.
You're right, I don't know anything about it because I don't care to know anything about it...
I don't want to see a cartoon - obviously I'm a bad critic...
Not only have I reviewed cartoons before, I've had the film-makers behind them commend me for my writing.
