Do you actually have nothing interesting to contribute or say on this topic (a topic you yourself believe in and are content with splashing billions on) or is the fact that the glaciers have been growing, not melting, a downer on the whole issue to you?

I've made my thoughts clear in the past on Global warming but every time you have turned it into a rant against the European Union. I'll be more than happy to debate this topic with anyone else on the forum but with you it will ultimately result in a European argument. Unfortunately whilst I do find your misguided EU posts humorous the novelty of them is beginning to wear thin.

I didn't mention the EU at first in this topic, infact it was only because you yourself and Nemo mentioned it I felt the need to respond to the novelty jokes. So again and back to the actual topic; what do you make of the fact that the glacier has actually been growing despite the impression we are given that they are infact melting?

So if in one instance a glacier grows then it means global warming doesn't exist? Can you not see how naive you are? Immigration fell within my town last year, immigration in Britain is therefore declining. "Global warming" is scientific fact, even UKIP won't deny that. It's whether or not we have sped up the process of Global warming that is the key debate so a singular rising glacier honestly proves nothing because that's not what the debate is about anyway.

In the past people have often brought up the Mail thus diverting the thread, I will not mention the EU unless it has something to do with the topic at hand. I mean for example in the part below of your post, you couldn't resist bringing UKIP into it - the same goes for every thread that I post - if UKIP, the Mail or the EU have nothing to do with it somebody feels the need to mention them in silly posts just like the one you posted in this very thread at the start.

But hang on a second, when disasters such as flooding and hot weather occur - we are told its global warming, so you cannot have it one way when the weather suits you and when it doesnt, its being 'naive'. Global warming is a fact yes, and as Lord Monckton states; its been a fact since the Earth was formed.

So in light of the little/no evidence that we have no impact on the climate, why do you believe in something that is far from proven and why do politicians throw billions at what essentially is a non-problem?

According to Lord Monckton and from what I have read in the past, the temperature has actually declined in past 15 years and I know from history that in Roman times, they grew grape vines as far north as Scotland in the medievil warming period. So my point is; why are we (or yourself more so) worrying about what is afterall a confirmed natural cycle?

Just for the record, it was a joke, and although you evaluated it as such correctly, you obviously missed the point that it was meant to be taken lightly. And i did also put a comment below the insanely hilarious joke that was related to the topic and was what i thought.

I don't mind jokes, but when somebody turns around to me and says 'you are the one bringing the EU/UKIP/Mail up in every thread' - that just takes the biscuit. All three of them didn't need to be mentioned.

The reason he brought it up is cause he thinks it disproves global warming when it is in fact totally irrelevant.
