    So, these are the extra costs you didn't think of! but srsly, the desk I have would be impossible to do that with

    I mean appeal as in the appeal of having an Apple Mac. They're beautifully crafted machines that look the business, and some of the features of OS X are pretty nifty, and simple things like the effects of a window appearing or the way the wee icons on the dock jump when you click them is all pretty cool. The Mac is more than a novelty than anything else.

    However I do agree with your point that a Windows machine is better in practical terms.

    Meh, can't complain about the iMac looks and appearance. If that does it for you then no problem

    I wouldn't have one though, it's not really a style I like and they seem to become outdated faster than a PC, which is quite impressive

    Yeah! My dad has a 27" iMac and he thinks it's the dogs balls, but tbh I wouldn't have one either. I'm happy with my intel i3 sony vaio laptop tbh!

    O/T definitely get an iPhone 4 if choosing between the two. Definitely worth spending the extra money on the newer phone.
