£18,000,000 + Ireland is the only sensible deal there.

Ashley Young a few weeks a go told the media he would like to sign a new contract and is happy here lmao, you get linked to him every transfer window, the same as us and Bentley. But Jenas please no (yn)

I wish Wolves would sign another creative midfielder and a solid centre back.

if Milner goes to City, Villa are anxious now to conclude the deal as they want to use the money... Ireland should go there then they want Keane and Mcgeady(he has been in Russia for talks but waiting on Villa).

If Mcgeady goes to Villa we take Young....

Thats what Harry means... If they dont get Mcgeady they want bentley!
From one of the more reliable ITKs. Remy is holding talks with us soon too... anyone know what he is like? Stoke were in for him...

If Ireland goes there why do they want McGeady because Young > McGeady

If we don't get Ireland, we will buy McGeady and keep Young in the "behind the striker" position, if Ireland comes we will push Young back out wide so no need for McGeady

Craig Bellamy : I'll start here because its all over the press now anyway. Harry really wants Bellamy and Bellamy does want to come to Spurs, But Man City are doing an awful lot of ignoring Tottenham at the moment. I think he is available for loan to pretty much everyone, bar us. In fact from what Harry has been told by Bellamy's people, Citeh are even prepared to subsidise his wages. As it stands any deals with Citeh are highly unlikely to be done before 31st August if at all. Might be he ends up somewhere like Bolton or Everton.

Micah Richards : we agreed everything with club and player in principle a long time ago, but deal was put on hold. And as above the case is now, Man Citeh not really playing ball with us. He is likely to get into the 25 man squad there though, with players like Onouha more likely to leave. This might have to wait until next year I think.

Gallas : Its true!!! to an extent, anyway. We have had conversations regarding money and it might be that is as far as it goes. Harry likes him though.

Crouch : Player has the full support of everyone at the club. He is not available for transfer, unless someone offers silly money. But that is the case with pretty much everyone. Harry did give him a bollocking mind!

Falcao : I started this one.....and I'm ending this one. Unless harry is playing his cards close to his chest, which is not unheard of. This is old news. Sorry everyone ops:

Cardozo : We have watched him and Harry does like him, but we are far apart on our valuation, so this one hasnt really gone any further than the sounding out stage.

Hunterlaar : We are told that he could be available, for a loan ----> permanent deal. but there are hurdles to cross on this and for the time being we have hit a stalemate. Harry does like him a lot, but at the moment we havnt really got the room for him anyway. I think we would need to sell at least one of the 2 strikers that divide us all. Keano or Pav!

Luis Fabiano : This is the Deal that everyone is trying to do. Its the hardest of the lot finacially but we are trying. Harry thinks its going to be really tough though. I think we are prepared to offer some serious money on this as long as the player shows enough willing to play for us. Even then it depends an awful lot on player sales and a sensible wage.

Others : Looks like we have turned away from deals for Remy (unless Nice accept an installment plan based on appearances and performance). Camoranesi, was offered to us and we did look at it. but not likely now.

Thats your lot folks... sorry there isnt anything on Young or Turan or anyone else....but I get what I get
    Please, not Gallas.

Milner transfer saga has finally ended
James Milner's protracted transfer from Aston Villa to Manchester City is finally set to go through on Thursday after the two clubs agreed a package worth about £26m.

Stephen Ireland – whose agent today held talks with the Villa chief executive, Paul Faulkner – will sign for Villa as part of the deal, providing he reaches a settlement with City over the remainder of his contract. Discussions will take place between Ireland's representative and City's hierarchy tomorrow morning.

Ireland has been valued at £10m, meaning that Villa will receive a further £16m in cash in addition to the former Republic of Ireland midfielder. Should Ireland pull out of the transfer – there is no indication that is likely to happen at the moment despite Martin O'Neill's resignation yesterday – Milner will move to Eastlands in a straight cash deal. Both players have been pencilled in for medicals at their respective new clubs on Thursday and could make their debuts at the weekend.

The latest development will come as a relief to all parties involved. The Guardian revealed City's interest in Milner almost four months ago but negotiations between the two clubs have dragged on. City tabled a £20m bid in May that was flatly rejected, with Villa holding out for closer to £30m for a player who cost £12m two years ago. In the end Villa agreed to lower their demands although many of the club's supporters will feel pleased by the final outcome.

Ireland's inclusion as a makeweight in the transfer was thrown into doubt when O'Neill unexpectedly quit, but the talks that had been agreed before that development went ahead as planned. The 23-year-old, who was voted City's player of the year at the end of the 2008-09 season, appears to have accepted that he has no future with Roberto Mancini in charge. Having signed a lucrative five-year contract with City little more than 12 months ago, he will hope to negotiate a sizeable settlement.
