i think you should get the acer aspire 5532 i have it and its like 300 quid and it's really fast and good!!

not to keen on acers, my last laptop was an acer and i didnt really like it

if your just going to use it at home and crappy stuff, get a cheap one? you can get a good one for £300, but yeah, you could dual boot XP or 7 onto the mac?

To be honest getting two laptops in the space of a month seems stupid (baring in mind you will only ever use one a a time..) May I ask how old you are?

Also if I showed you a £700 Acer would you change your mind about them being crap? :\
