    if your just going to use it at home and crappy stuff, get a cheap one? you can get a good one for £300, but yeah, you could dual boot XP or 7 onto the mac?
    Do this. Mac has a built in wizard to install Windows along-side Mac very easily, "Boot Camp Assistant". Just run the program, pop in the windows disk, reboot & install. Done.

    Then you have your Windows laptop & Mac laptop all-in-one!
