    There's one similar to this on some ex-corporate, overstock, refurb, god knows what else store I go on for about £350

    First one of those wont take a full size PCI(-E) card, and both will probably need new PSUs.

    I have an Acer quad core mini tower (Q8200) I picked up for 200 pounds new last Christmas and it has served me very well.
