I'm starting sixth form at my school and the dress code is very strict - girls also now have to wear a 'suit jacket' so basically a blazer x] The skirts also have to be knee length, not below. If someone's uniform is bad (for example with the skirts) they'll get sent home to get changed.

I'll never be rich and I'll never look perfect, I don't care it's who I am.
You'll never be happy, chasing all the wrong things and you'll never understand.

My school changes it's rules about uniform quite frequently. Last year they said we could wear blue or white shirts if we wanted, because we wrote a letter to the governors asking them to let us. So obviously only those who wanted to wear white brought white. And then out of nowhere we're suddenly not allowed to wear cardigans, and then it's changed to our jumpers need to be navy. Then a few weeks before the end of school we weren't allowed to wear jumpers and blazers but we had to wear our blazers. So basically no jumpers.

Now the uniform is white shirt, house tie, black/navy jumper, black/navy bottoms. The years 7-10 have to wear clip on ties in the colour of their school house. And the year 11's have normal ties with thinner stripes, and prefects have ribbons in the colour of their school house on their blazers.

a house tie is a tie with the symbol of their house on it, like in harry potter.

my school uniform is VERY STRICT, I go to a Naval College thing so we have three uniforms.

    Number ones.
Full Merchant Navy Officer Uniform (for parades and stuff)

    Number Twos.
Navy blue shirt, thick belt, black trousers, with a jumper with epilets to wear when it's cold (everyday uniform)

    Reg Rig
    Blazer, house tie, cheenos etc

it's very strict, if we have one too many buttons undone on our shirts we get detention, if it's more serious such as wrong shoes or something, it's a CP.

My school has four different 'houses', they're named after different places around my area, so we have 4 types of ties. Red, blue, green and yellow. They don't have badges on but we get metal badges to pin onto them that have the school logo with the house's colour in the background.
I'm in the yellow house and it's cool because the ties are just like the hufflepuff ones
Our blue house ties look like ravenclaws as well lol
