Single player as a whole is annoying tbh, well it is when you have to play with tiny render distance. And the fact zombies and crap somehow spawned in my little base thing makes it worse, been killed by those exploding things many times. URGG. I'm kick some ass tomorrow.

Whenever I make a new world and I can't find coal before night time, I start a new game because it's just so hard to get back from it on hard.

lololol. You wimp. If u feel like its taking you too long, just dig a load of dirt and make a giant pillar. You'll probably end up being screwed in the morning, but most of the scary stuff is dead by then (skeletons)

Yes but you can't do anything all night! And if you alt-tab out, it pauses the game (that needs to be fixed ok)
