im glad mintys going, not because i dont like him but a) the whole "i love you sam" is a dry storyline sorta thing and b) cant stand to see the heather and minty snog scenes LOL, I generally cant stand snog scenes

Peggy's Theme (the song which will be used when she leaves as the ending, like Julias Theme) by Simon May to be released on September 13th but available to pre-order from 9am on 4th September. Can't wait to hear it!

All of these story lines and tram crashes etc makes me wonder whats coming next in Emmerdale. I hope that there is a bomb scare or something and its a real one and Andy Sugden dies or something because it would be karma taking its revenge and also because I hate his character now. It would also leave it open for Victoria to return to the dales and because I like her I hope she stays in it for ever and ever to carry on the legacy of Emmerdale Farm.

Anyway back to Eastenders, it is an awful shame that Peggy is leaving but other characters such as Dot etc I always feel that there is going to come a day when somehow they're going to have to magically write her out of the soap due to her sudden death. Because of that I think it's good that Peggy is leaving, leaving on a pretty big high after the last year or so. After the several times that the pub has been taken from her she has managed to get it back one last time and like a captain of a ship she goes down with it. It's a shame she is leaving but then it opens a whole new era of worms for Roxy etc and what she decides to do with the ruined pub and what new characters are install for us in the future.

doesnt alfie get the pub? Anyway they need to introduce some new mitchels. I also wonder if phil kills her, how will other characters react to this, especially ben when he gets out of prison. I mean, will the blame the drugs or will they completely blank him or maybe even some people attack him

I really want to see a Slater reunion lol, Mo, Charley, Lil Mo, Lynn, Kat and Zoe all turned up and there is only Mo and Charley left and he is leaving so there will only Mo, Stacey and Jean and they're giving Jean the boot as well I think so there will only be two left! I really hope that they keep like the Brannings and Heather and Shirley in Eastenders, they're great characters and there are a few babies of theirs around at the moment so there could be great story lines involving them as they get older and become fully fledged characters of their own. I really hope though that they don't get rid of Ronnie and Roxy, they're my favourite Mitchells as they're half normal but have the feisty Mitchell streak in them when it is called for lol.
