Well, I couldn't go out and buy it NOW, just looking for price fixtures, but I'm aiming for that. If not maybe at 57 reg+ if things don't go my way :L

1K for the car.
Few hundred for the kit, seats, speakers etc.
His own manual labour.
4K insurance.

My mate got a fiesta ST for his first car and some how hes got insurance on that cheaper then my 1.4...
He pays around £3K i think he said I year...

Looked around, and found on average it's about £3k for 10 reg, may look into at 57 reg, same car.

not much point buying a 2010 plate car, unless it's a 2010 model. if it's say, a 2007 model on a 2010 plate you're better off getting an 07/57 reg.
