Default How are competition winners picked?

I just wish to know, as on some of them there are minimal competition entries where choosing the best one isn't really fair/applicable in my opinion.

For example, the graphics section of competitions how are they picked.

The person who's Competition it was, so for example if it was one of my Competitions, I'd choose the entry I think is best - it's as simple as that.

    Hello

Each competition which a Competition Staff make which does not have a definite answer (mainly ones which you have to PM HabboxComps but also Search the Squares and How many blah blah blahs...) gets to choose the winner to their competition. It is their opinion. Although in your opinion it may not be your favourite, it might be someone elses because it stands out to them. Mike and I argue over the winners I choose quite a lot of the time and the reason for this is because although one person may think it is spectacular, another think it is crap. The procedure has been here for a long time and I can assure you it won't change as there's just no way of saying "OK that's the best"- especially as voting is far too bias. I know for a fact the group of Competitions Staff I have at the moment would not fix the results because they're their mate, mainly because I trust them but also most of their winners have been unique every time. Just went off on one there just so I can avoid the obvious questions another member may post.

"HabboxComps" winners are picked in a variety of ways. Mike and I have recently just resorted to a number generator but I previously made it pretty darn complex to work out just to make it a bit more interesting. The number generator we use is fully reliable in the sense that the results are not fixed.

Edit: Oh another member can't post because it's in Events & Competitions- oops! Still, I'll leave the answer there for you.

How do you mean that it's not fair/applicable if there is a minimum of entries? If there's 1 entry then it's unfair not to choose just because no-one else entered.

Alex has pretty much said the rest

Why have a go at me, I didn't say it was fixed or anything.

I'm just saying if there is only a couple of entries, I forgot to put hard to choose from, which are hard to choose from and both hold similar pros and cons, then what would happen then.

But I see where you are coming from so I don't need any more information. Thanks.

Oh harder to choose from. Well that's slightly different. Sometimes, it has been hard to choose a winner but there has to be one so we go for the entry that just pips it to the post. I think if we were really struggling to choose, we'd ask some other staff member to help us out but I don't think it's ever come to that.
