Rules for Staff Names

How in the world is that a valid responce? They picked their habbo names in the first place, its free to create new accounts so that is no way valid.

It's valid because as many people have said, some staff no longer use Habbo and did when they were young, chose a nooby name - dont use it anymore but like using HxF - there are many that do it.

I'll give you an example, NaughtyNemo - I know he isn't staff anymore but his Habbo name is minime400 or something like that.

It would be unfair to people like me who have roles at Habbox which are not community based. I hardly play Habbo anymore as I am 16 and don't really find it fun anymore, but I still put 110% into my role as a Graphics Designer, so I don't see the point in having my name as my Habbo name when I don't use it and when my job doesn't concern being active in the Hotel.

Another thing is, why would people need to know my Habbo name on Habbox Forum if the job that I'm doing doesn't even concern the hotel.

The only reason a DJ would need their Habbox Forum username their Habbo name is so people can contact them on the Hotel.

Same goes with General Management, if they need to find them, you know their Habbo name is the same as their forum name.

But with a Graphics Designer or a Moderator, what is the purpose of finding them on the Hotel? nil.

Tbf, if someone posts an add on here about their new fansite and their name is '.:sexibbes327:. - you straight away assume the fansite is crap.

Habbo accounts are indeed free but you cannot merge or change your name with ease. Yes, I don't need to have "xxMATTGxx" and I could of stayed with MattGarner with an additional full-stop at the end, although I chose not to. Why? Well everyone has me on my xxMATTGxx account and it also contains my achievements, badges and furni which would be a shame to lose over a name. (Even though you can trade furni over)

I agree with jord, if you're really that embarrassed by your old habbo name then you can make a new one easily lol but I guess we're fighting a losing battle with this name change idea...

Lets put it like this, the majority of the people who will disagree are those who work in one of the 'non-community' departments without their habbo name. Every staff member should be treated equally, sure if anyone actually gave two flying ***** all staff could put their habbo name in their usertitle. No-one actually signs up to the forum then wonders around the hotel looking for 'none important staff members'. Its always the other way around, they find the person on habbo then asks them their habboxforum username.


IMO: No staff member apart from managers or gms should have to have their forum name as their habbo name. If they do, everyone should have to.

Why should someone register to Habbo to register to be Habbo Staff? I know most of our users come from Habbo but I know a couple that aren't, if they wanted to be staff... It's a silly rule - we are proud to be a both Habbo and Non-Habbo forum and we can have habbo and non-habbo staff.
