    Just my opinion anyway.
I can see where you're getting at there, but why would I go into the VIP forums? It's completely dead and has no use to me, I don't need to change my name or request features. Maybe if I was linked then sure, but being told about it then balls to it, I only have 3 categories un-collapsed anyway. (General, tech + this one)

Now I thought nothing of this message as it wasn't too harsh so I just dealt with it, it was "just right".
You obviously learnt nothing, hence the stricter punishment.

However it had nothing to do with setting an alert over 6 years, only "inappropriate" content. My point still stands that I should never have received such a harsh message from Jamesy.
You've probably learnt by now you will never beat management by saying you stand by your point.

    (also no jerking it guys)

    -some stupid large text-
    a) There are not too many
    b) If you don't read them you are STILL liable, just like if you accept T&Cs without looking at them
    c) If you don't take ten minutes then you take much longer replying to this mess of a thread.

It isn't difficult to work out that spamming the calendar is NOT allowed, just like most of the rules.

Generally you get linked to the rules you have violated so I'd guess there was a failure there. Nevertheless if you fail to read the rules / terms that you agree to when signing up or get VIP / Donator then you will be dealt with a lot more harshly as you repeat offences. Abuse of VIP features is an umbrella term but all the violations pretty much come down to common sense. You've violated the rule on more than one occasion and as such you are dealt with more harshly. The fact you haven't read the rules is not really a defence.

    Perhaps a compromise:

Add the VIP rules to the Forum Rules in their own section. Just because they are VIPs doesn't mean they will go straight to the VIP forums to read a thread Afterwards you may decide to delete the thread, but that depends if you want all VIP information to be kept in one place, but it does seem relying on the VIP rules thread hasn't worked, even though common sense would suggest spamming the calendar feature would elad to this.

The message was a bit snotty though. He has pretty much donated towards keeping Habbox afloat. A message that gives the facts as well as a solution would of been better, not blasting at him like he's committed an illegal offense

Perhaps a link to the VIP rules could be provided in the current "Forum Specific Rules". Adding the whole list bulks the overall rules up unnecessarily, but a link would make them readily available.

That could work too. I didn't see the Forum Specific Rules bit at the bottom of the Forum Rules.

That or, potentially, under the user account rules you could have "Do not abuse VIP features" and just link to the thread as an explanation.

Mind you, it's never really been a problem before.

Never been a problem because no one decided it would be "fun" to spam the VIP calender with unneeded and pointless events that not just cover one or a couple of days but like a month or even more. I think it would be pretty much common sense you don't use a feature to spam pointless stuff on, you wouldn't do it in one of the forum sections so there is no need for the calender either. I suppose we could make the VIP rules much clearer to the members of this forum and there is actually nothing wrong with the PM what so ever or that the events were deleted.

People such as your self killed Habbox. Sent harsh PMs to dedicated VOLUNTEERS, they got fed up with your harsh PMs for small mistakes when you broke bigger rules (so it was just ironic and ******ed anyway), so moved to other fan sites which are more relaxed. Well done.

On the topic of MODS and their PM's
I got this, it is like my first warning in months, I would get more emotion out of a robot...
Just because you say its friendly doesn't mean it actually is, it would be nice if they didn't have to stick to some sort of robotic format

    Hello Emotional,
