They do no damage on SMP as far as I know, but just a thought.. spawn cages (when allowed by the server) placed by players will only spawn pigs, but I wonder if one were to use the cuboid tool to copy/paste a dungeon spawn into daylight could one possibly make top-level spider farms

Yeah, I made a meat dispenser a while back, where inside the building were several pig spawners, with a LOT of pigs coming out of them. Only bad thing was, was that it crashed the server when you went near it.

I could name all sorts of things I've done and claim to be highly respected and loved by all but regardless of whether it's true or not it wouldn't make a difference to present experience. You can't expect everyone to love you just because a few 13 year olds thought you were clever in the past.

My point is, this is the first and only time I have been seen in a negative way by a community.
So it is fairly reasonable to assume that the odds are it is something wrong with this community and not me.
Here is my logical reasoning if you would like:

Habbz Average User Count: 475 at a time.
Nabbo Average User Count: N/A (most moved to Habbz with me, but it was about 40 at a time).
DKR Freeroam++ Average User Count: 100 at a time.
CraxyBob's CnR Average User Count: 190 at a time.
RaGEZONE Average User Count: Unknown (very active forum, best guess about 50 regulars).

Stuto's Server Average User Count: 7 at a time.



Positive User Count = 475+100+190+50 = 815
Negative User Count = 7 = 7

Total User Count = 815 + 7 = 822



This community is a tiny 0.8%
That is over 116 users for each of you.

So by using that data I can logically assume that there is a 99.2% chance of you being the problem?
Only an idiot would think that 99.2% of people are wrong.

I added one place where I was purely a member (RaGEZONE).
In the section I use I am one of the best developers there (and this isn't self judged before you moan).
So just because I don't have awesome rank doesn't matter - this is about how I am viewed there.

Well if you consider the three points I previously mentioned, anyone with any understanding of probability will agree that the chances of it being anything other than the boat mod were quite low.
As such, the flyRidgeFly plugin (which I last looked at about 3 days before) never even crossed my mind.
Also, I don't see how there being something that...

1. Rapidly teleports the user.
2. Runs server side.
3. Extends server functionality
4. Had never been discussed (that I had seen at least).

could in anyway be a reason to even consider it even similar to something that...

1. Removes gravity and adds new control systems.
2. Runs client side.
3. Overwrites client functionality
4. Had been discussed.

The only thing they have in common is that they both allow you travel the Y Axis easier.
flyRidgeFly doesn't even fly. You simple teleport as you fall.




And the reason I go into so much detail and effort is because I enjoy it.
I find it fun to forward on your responses to others* and then see their total disbelief at your total lack of reason.

I could safely walk across hot coals by either going fast enough for it not to burn me or by wearing shoes. The outcome is the same despite a different method, it really doesn't take a genius to work this out. It really would have been much easier for you to just say "sorry, my mistake, I thought you were talking about a specific version" than to try using probability to come to the conclusion that none of us are capable of a Google search for an alternative - considering it had already been pointed out that the boat version was client side only, *+*pRoBaBiLiTy SaYs We WoUlDn'T kEeP oN tHiNkInG iT wOuLd WoRk AnD WoUlD iNsTeAd LoOk FoR sOmEtHiNg ElSe*+*. Cecer1 is a good guy and decent programmer. He's been helping with this server, adding more features and trying to run it as efficiently and friendly as possible and everyone is having a go at him.

I don't even play this Minecraft game, but I've been following this thread and a lot of people are acting so childish towards each other.

No they aren't? Not everyone is having a go at him we just wish for the whole thing to stop in this thread so the thread can carry on being normal about Stuto's server.

Not to state the obvious but you can't have an opinion about his conduct in this community if you haven't been a part of it. I fully accept that elsewhere he may well have been all the greatest things you could say of a programmer, but when entire ownership deals fall through because no-one here likes him, and when the server gets griefed heavily in retaliation to his poor handling of members, and when the server owner himself drops him from the project, it becomes quite clear that this was not his finest moment

Do people have a valid reason "not to like him"? For the short time that he's been here, he's been doing nothing but good from what I can see.

The server gets "griefed" heavily because; It's probably fun to do so or the person is just childish and likes ruining the game for other people - it's an online game, lmao!
