So you haven't actually read the thread like you said you had I'm guessing..

I've read about a dodgy backup system, banning people wrongly and houses being moved - hardly any major reasons not to like him.

On topic; By the way, I've decided I'm going to give this game a try. Multiplayer should be fun

It's more his holier-than-thou attitude towards it all than the actual events tbh - never seen him admit to being wrong or sincerely apologise, even when he acknowledged that he'd burnt down someone's work multiple times or been the cause of huge server problems at the start.

But yeah, it's a really great game and despite what it may look like this is a pretty decent community for the most part, definitely worth the £8 or whatever it is the exchange rate brings it to now. Also the worlds are absolutely massive (the one on Stuto's server is 8x the size of Earth lol) so there ought to be a space somewhere for anything you'd possibly care to build

Mostly weekday evenings and all day weekends (GMT). Also we've found a vps but it isn't a possibility without donations at the moment.

Uh oh, I threw down those bridge blocks on SMP in front of me and now whenever I login it d/cs me because the server doesn't recognise the block type I guess D;
