    i need help fast, basiclly my bt hub is all fine apart from the broadband, it says nothin needs plugging in its the hub unable to connect to the broadband, any idea how to fix it without ringing BT??

    We had that aswell, we rang BT and were on hold for like 40mins haha
    used to fix usertitles n stuff

    It's a bloody scam, they have a bad service so that people call their support line from a non-BT line (Because their phone lines go out all the time) and pay like £20 a call.

    As others have said it was a national problem - fortunately I was not affected - and never have been while with BT.

    Are you serious? It was obviously a serious problem with their core hardware, why the hate? It can happen to any company at any time.

    No. Chippiewill is, as usual, correct.

    They quite obviously did this to make a bit more money, while risking the chance of getting sued for FAR more than they would make by trying this.
