Free Xbox Live Gold

A little while back whenever i made a new account on my xbox i got free month xbox live gold.
Now i can't do it anymore? Anyone help? :L

I believe you can only do it like 3 times per xbox

You only have something like, three goes. But you can remove the HDD, place a USB in and create a new account. You should get another three accounts to make (when the HDD is out).

Unless your in the UK in which case the 12 month gold stays the same.

i just took out my HDD and configured a USB memory stick but when i made a new account it only gave me silver :S

Didn't m$ stop giving away gold when you set up a new account. I thought it was always silver now. I remember you used to get gold with a free account but not anymore. I may be wrong.
