I never did quite understand the ban review thing.

"If your ban was unfair at the time you can appeal it here"

As far as I am aware, that was the bottom line right? Well we could appeal unfair bans anyway. So what am I missing and what made the ban review so special?

Basically old management ruling, you couldn't request an unban for some broken rules, even though many of the rules people got banned for were removed because they made no sense.

You do have an assistant, can't the work balance be equally shared? Of course skinning takes a lot of time, but is sorting charity stuff and dealing with complaints actually that time consuming you can't do other updates like remove one word from the filter which will take under 5 minutes?

Sarah is away currently, so her activity is limited. Otherwise yes that is the case with work shared equally

So before the forum review, if you appealed a ban on and old account and the reason for the ban was a hideous rule that no longer exists, the account would not be unbanned?

even though some people who had 3/4 accounts banned and were previously autobanned because they had 30/40 infractions were allowed back with accounts merged. from this year too. i think it was just a case we'll unban you if you're not controversial type thing not on what you're banned for / current behaviour

Hmmm, maybe I hinted that the ruling behind it made sense All I remember was some people weren't unbanned because they were banned for something dispicable like swearing at a manager or they didn't do what they were told like change their avatar

Might of not done it at all, if it was for a benefit of only 8 members or so. Not saying it was a bad idea, saying it probably wouldn't have been as worth it, unless you go beyond and unban some more accounts that were unsuccessful in appealing yet still are potential candidates.

So is the whole forum re-vamp done then?

Huge shame there, things might have actually gone into a positive direction. It's an aspect I'm not a big fan of here, that some people are unwilling to try something more out of the box or something more hip and trendy to continue Habbox's strengths. Also slightly annoying as I was actually looking forward to some of these changes, as such a big hype was made over them ;[!

I don't think you have any immediate jobs to do to be honest. You should do them as and when you decide they are going to be done on Sunday and then just announce them on Sunday.

Since when did you become GM telling Jamesy what to do? Also as FM is a pretty busy role and a bit of appreciation wouldn't come amiss.

When I read forum updates I hope for something interesting.

Why not have 'Minor Updates' as the sunday updates, and any big announcements actually make use of the dev. forum?

Sunday Updates have been with us for ages. Why complicate things? Quite honestly there would be still be moaning if there wasn't any communication. It would be a 'where is the Sunday Updates thread? What's this 'have a go' at Jamesy day? Where is the management support for him in this thread guys or are you just leaving him to roast! :@
