I've seen quite a bit of negativity in feedback, and at the same time, some really great posts from members who really do care about the future of Habbox.
Is it time for a team to be created to help market Habbox?

It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!
Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.
I like your idea, but could you elaborate? How would people "market" Habbox?
It's an interesting idea, and one that does make sense. Managers have to promote their departments but quite often they are busy managing. Getting some savvy people in habbox and media / networking / community as a specific role to promote habbox as a whole sounds like a good thing to trial.
Execution is important though, we've seen various specifically tasked teams over the years that tend to crumble as the hype dies down.
Ex-janitor. Might pop in from time to time, otherwise you can grab all my information from http://jamesy.me.uk/
Well we need some brainstorming and I'm hoping we will get some good ideas in this thread, but all managers working together with one aim, promote promote.
I'm off out so will check back later.

It sounds like a good idea, but yeah it needs to be worked through to see where and how its going to happen. And like the others have said, we need a bit more information on what you exactly mean by "marketing".
Seems like a good idea! With great planning and leadership this could really help habbox!
forever the queen.
I like the idea! However, it really, really needs a lot of thinking. What kind of promotion? Strictly ingame or would they do a bit of out-of-game work too?

I agree. If it were just managers doing this marketing scheme, I wouldn't like the idea. Just because I think if each manager focused on their department alone, they could get much more done in terms of promotion. Also, why can't this idea just be unofficial? Why can't all the managers get together and discuss it.
