Ok. I don't wish to post any spoilers, but truley this is the highlight of the game. In perfect honesty this is probably the best storyline from any single call of duty game.

    Any other views on it?

I liked it, but the story was forgettable and incredibly far fetched. Most have probably not played the original Call of Duty games - I have but I cannot for the life of me remember the storylines, but from Call of Duty 4 onwards, the stories have been pretty weak, so calling it the very best is not much to write home about. It just seemed there for the sake of covering the various locations and periods. As always it was fairly pretentious fare, ripped off the game Vietcong, ripped off the movie The Deer Hunter, has horrible voice acting from Sam Worthington, and is just pretty formulaic overall. They need to up their game big time if they want to stay fresh rather than recycling action movie-like set pieces every game.

Yes, it was one of the best. However, as a game it wasn't very interesting. So many cutscenes I wanted to skip through and then some cutscenes I did. Was quite annoying. In the end, I enjoyed it which is all that matters right?

I too have played every call fo duty and agree i can barley remember any storylines apart from MW2. and obviously it would be far fetched as it was set in the COLD WAR XD so technically there shouldn't be any fighting. but i agree with you that they need to reinvent themself if they wish to stay fresh.

And to wiizzz i enjoyed the added cut scenes as ti gave the story more depth and interaction.

I think it was the masked voice that annoyed me the most.

The interrogation did get on my nerves, that and all the flashy cinematics since there were just so many of them. I'm fine with it taking place in an alternate history, but warfare was the complete opposite in the '60s. 90% of the tech in the game didn't even exist! And I didn't know Mayor Quimby from The Simpsons was President.

Horrible, horrible storytelling at work. I hate it when a game doesn't like me touching its narrative, pulled a MW2 No Russian for over six hours.

    Enjoyed it nonetheless.

The missions were some of the best so far interms of the fun facter, but veteran is no longer difficult in anyway.
The story wasn't amazing but its a game, at the end of the day I dont play for the story I play for the fun.
